I am an Associate Counsellor with the Adam May C.B.T Practice, and a counsellor supporting adults who have been victims of rape and sexual abuse. I also work with elderly people suffering from dementia and mental health problems in a residential care setting.
I have a Diploma in Counselling. I am currently studying for a level 5 qualification in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy that can be utilised within my counselling work. I have sixteen years’ experience working alongside children with special educational needs, and also nine years working within health and social care supporting children, teenagers and adults with emotional, behavioural and learning difficulties.
I was awarded a Post Graduate Certificate in Applied Behavioural Analysis by The University of Bangor whilst working with young people with challenging behaviour.
I am a member of the B.A.C.P and deliver counselling in accordance with the BACP ethical framework.
I receive close support and supervision from Adam May. A qualified supervisor at Stepping Stones also supervises me.
I do not see clients on behalf of Medra or any other referral agency.
